The Boys and Leaders of Pack 895 Welcome You!

All boys entering 1st through 5th grade (ages 6-10) are welcome to join our pack.

We are a very active pack with enthusiastic, fully trained leaders who believe that Cub Scouts is a journey that must be shared by the boy, his leaders, and his parents. We strive to live up to the Scouting motto of "Fun With A Purpose" with the 'purpose' being to develop a boy's sense of family, community, faith and self worth. And the fun being camping, games, hiking, model building, campfires and so much more!!

Thank You Volunteers

Posted on Aug 26 2014 - 10:22pm

The Boy Scouts of America relies on dedicated volunteers to promote its mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, nearly 1.2 million adults provide leadership and mentoring to Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturers.
Through the dedication of these many volunteers, the Boy Scouts of America remains the foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training in America.
To these volunteers we would like to say thank you for your dedication to Scouting.
And, to adults who are not currently Scout volunteers, we invite you to become a volunteer and share in the positive experiences of the Scouting programs.

Volunteer Leadership Opportunities

Posted on Aug 26 2014 - 10:17pm

Please consider volunteer leadership with Pack 895. Our pack will need new leadership in several positions due moves and families bridging to boy scouting. Immediately available are treasurer , committee chair, membership chair, and secretary.  In January 2015, the following positions will be open advancement chair. There are also several non registered leader volunteer opportunities that are unfilled. Responsibilities of these jobs when unfilled fall on the registered pack committee leaders. Please take a few minutes to read the Pack Leadership Positions descriptions of jobs and see if any suit your interest, time and talents. It would be wonderful if volunteers can be assistants to the current leaders so they can be prepared for change over leadership roles in January 2015.
